Gibson SG Standard 1969 in Wickford, Essex for sale

I've owned this guitar for 22 years but have rarely used it for the last 15 so it must go! Here's the changes: machine heads changed for Schallers, neck pickup is a Seymour Duncan Jazz, bridge pickup is a Seymour Duncan Seth Lover. Pick guard is a 1993 genuine Gibson replacement. Original ABR1 but the original vibrola was replaced with the stop tail long before I had it. Frets are low and original and have life left in them. There's the usual neck/body join repair only on the bass side. This repair was done long before I owned it and is 100% solid. You can see the repair in one of the pictures. Pots are original and date back to 1969. Comes with a heavy duty 9mm ply flightcase. As you can see this is far from a pristine example, but it is a real players guitar and sounds amazing. For the same money, this'll blow a new Standard into the dust! I'm looking to replace this with a late 80's early 90's Les Paul Standard.
